These provide the opportunity for young people and job seekers to learn about the Marine Industry and hear from a wide range of businesses on the skills needed and opportunities and pathways available.

Marine Immersion Days usually happen at local marinas or marine hubs, where we conduct a short tour of the facility and usually a hands-on activity as well. 

You can request a Marine Immersion Day locally (subject to availability) by completing this request form. 

These are usually delivered in partnership with local TAFE’s or other RTO’s. They are designed to give young people and job seekers the opportunity to begin learning hands-on skills such as the use of power tools or completion with Marine Card (marine industry work place health and safety). 

These trade tasters are a great first step to understanding if the marine industry is the right career choice. Not only will attendees learn some non-accredited skills, but they will get the chance to meet with employers and businesses in our industry.
