**SMART BOATING IS HIRING! **
Smart Boating is the leading share boat company, with 40 vessels under management across 3 Sydney locations. We are currently seeking energetic and friendly dock staff for our Bayview, Clontarf and Bobbin Head locations. A keen eye for detail and strong customer service skills are a must.
These positions are based within marinas, and would be ideal for those with a genuine interest and affinity for boats and people.
** Dock Staff/Dock Master (Full Time) **
As the face of the business, and the first point of contact for many of our boat owners, our dock staff are integral to the day-to-day operation by providing an exceptional level of customer service to our boat owners and maintaining our fleet to the highest standard.
** Responsibilities include: **
- Preparation and cleaning of vessels - Meeting and greeting of boat owners and assisting with requests - Assisting owners with berthing, including berthing the vessel for them - Driving the tender - Re-fuelling and pump-outs of boats - General maintenance of vessels - Detailing vessels, including polishing, waxing and teak treatments - General marina duties and maintenance - Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe workplace
Shifts are rostered in 4 day blocks across 7 days of the week. 1 day of Weekend availability is necessary. Training will be provided for the right candidate, with the possibility for job progression based on performance.

Requirements
- Keen eye for detail
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Friendly and experienced in customer service
- Experience in the marine industry is desirable, but not essential - Australian general boat licence
- BIA Marine Card, or willing to obtain
- Australian Drivers Licence and own car
- You must have the right to work in Australia
- Double vaccinated would be appreciated.
